The video Undo examines the relationship between medium and gender, art historical canon and textile art, as well as the marginalization of female artists and their works. During an extensive research, names of numerous female textile artists across art history were put on paper alphabetically. Undo shows the process of forgetting in reverse: As the sewing machine is running backwards and the dense seam is being dissolved, the names are brought back to memory.
